What is your most favorite picture of you and Chris?
This photo was taken the night before our wedding, at the rehearsal dinner. It was hosted at the most beautiful house I’ve ever seen, owned by the sweetest mentors we’ve ever known.
Anyway, I was very overwhelmed and on the verge of tears the entire night. So many emotions! At the end of the evening, Chris stopped packing (his delicious homemade lasagna) up long enough to give me one of those hugs.
He has always made a point to try and keep me in the moment. He wants me to cast all of my cares upon Him, and then upon him. That hug absorbed all of my stress, all of my worry, all of my nerves…that hug was home.

I love this picture! It makes me sleepy and dreamy just seeing it. Going to hug my husband like this when he comes downstairs (he’s working from home today).
